Information on the treatment of personal data of the partecipants to the Tidalites Group

This information is a fulfillment required by Regulation (EU) 2016/679, General Data Protection Regulation (henceforth, RGPD), which, pursuant to art. 13, provides for the obligation to deliver interested parties with the information necessary to ensure a correct and transparent processing of their personal data.

1. Subjects of the processing

The Data Processor is the natural or legal person, public authority, service or other body that processes personal data on behalf of the data controller.

The processing by a Manager is governed by a contract or other legal act, which binds the Person in charge to the Data Controller.

2. Purpose of the processing

The data subject to the processing provided by TIDALITES GROUP when registering online on the dedicated website is collected and used within the limits established by law and regulations or treated for institutional purposes. It is specified that the treatment is carried out in compliance with the general principles of lawfulness, transparency, correctness, minimization, non-excessiveness, accuracy as per art. 5 RGPD and that the data will be processed exclusively for the performance of administrative activities linked to participation in the conference.

3. Processing methods

“Treatment” means “any operation or set of operations, carried out with or without the aid of automated processes and applied to personal data or sets of personal data, such as collection, registration, organization, structuring, conservation, adaptation or modification, extraction, consultation, use, communication by transmission, dissemination or any other form of provision, comparison or interconnection, limitation, cancellation or destruction “(See Article 4, No. 2, RGPD).

In particular, it should be noted that the personal data requested and acquired are collected and processed both in paper form and by electronic means for purposes related to the performance of the University’s institutional activities.

Personal data will be stored for the duration necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected in compliance with administrative requirements.

Personal data may be disclosed to third parties as part of the exercise of the access right referred to the law n. 241/1990.

The University of Basilicata will be able to make possible forms of online distribution of data only in the cases provided for by law or regulation.

The dissemination of data will be carried out in compliance with the principles of minimization, accuracy, relevance and non-surplus provided for by the RGPD and by the guidelines of the Guarantor for the protection of personal data.

In the case of data processed with the aid of electronic tools, the computer systems are equipped, in compliance with art. 32 RGPD, of security measures designed to prevent the loss of data, illicit use or incorrect and unauthorized access.

4. Provision of data

The provision of some common personal data (surname, name, place and date of birth, address, e-mail is necessary for the conduct of the administrative activities related to the organization of the conference.

In case of failure to provide such data, it will not be possible for the University to register the person at the conference.

The provision of the data relating to the personal number of fixed and / or mobile telephony, where required, is purely optional, but, if not communicated, may be an impediment to urgent communications.

5. Rights of the interested party

The interested party has the right to:

  • ask the Data Controller, pursuant to articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 21 of the RGPD, access to their personal data and the correction or cancellation of the same or the limitation of the processing that concern them or to oppose their treatment, in addition to the right to the portability of the data. Cancellation is not permitted for data contained in the documents that must be kept by the University;
  • revoke the consent at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation;
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

These rights can be exercised by writing to the Data Controller, to the competent Data Protection Contact or to the Data Protection Manager.
