We are really excited to approach the 10TH International Congress of Tidal Sedimentology, which will be held from 3 to 5 May 2022 in the picturesque city of Matera in southern Italy. With this message, we would like to share with you the second circular of Tidalites 2022. In this document, there are the latest updates on the scientific program and sessions we are preparing, as well as detailed information on the activities associated with Tidalites 2022.
We are proud to announce the five keynote speakers, as well as a scientific session entirely dedicated to early-career researchers (Master/PhD students and postdocs), among which the best presentation will be awarded.
The circular also informs on:
- the travel grants provided by IAS ans SEPM,
- the possibility to download in advance the guides to the seven field trips associated with Tidalites,
- how to reach Matera from nearby airports and major Italian cities
- the various lodging possibilities close to the venue of the congress.
We also want to draw your attention on the deadline for abstract submission and registration, which is rapidly approaching: 30 March 2022!Instructions for abstract formatting and uploading are indicated in the registration panel, at: www.tidalites.com/2022, as well as in the circular.
Tidalites 2022 will be one of the first geological congresses which will be held in person. However, we also provide the opportunity to attend Tidalites 2022 online, thanks to a streaming connection for those people who cannot reach Italy. Instructions for the online attendees will be provided soon.
